Stand-Alone Systems

Solar cells and fuel cells can be combined to power a stand-alone system. In this arrangement, the solar cell will provide power during day time and the excess of the energy will produce Hydrogen; by electrolysis. The Hydrogen is stored and used by the fuel cell during dark hours to power the appliance.
